Seiler Instrument & Manufacturing Company is pleased to announce the establishment of Midwest RTK Networks. These integrated networks of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) and Trimble Navigation GPSNet™ and RTKNet™ software produce models of systemic GPS errors which significantly improves RTK accuracies for rovers working within the network.

Mission Statement
Seiler Instrument & Manufacturing Company is committed to provide the framework, leadership and vision necessary to implement RTK VRS networks in major markets in the Midwestern United States. These will include the largest cities in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Indiana and southern Illinois.
Midwest RTK Networks

  • Saint Louis RTK Network: covers approximately 3,500 square miles and the eight Missouri and Illinois counties comprising the Saint Louis, Missouri metropolitan area.
  • Indianapolis RTK Network: covers approximately 3,000 square miles and the seven counties comprising the Indianapolis, Indiana metropolitan area.
  • Milwaukee / Southeastern Wisconsin RTK Network: covers approximately 3,000 square miles comprising the Milwaukee, Wisconsin metropolitan area and Southeastern Wisconsin.

Mobile User Requirements

  1. MWRTK User service agreement (user name and password)
  2. Rover or other GPS device that supports NTRIP (Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol) and the VRS broadcast format
  3. An Internet Data capable cell phone or modem

Mobile User Benefits
The VRS software establishes high quality control throughout the network area so that users can work anywhere within the network without setting up and securing a reference base station and base radio modem.
Less time setting up = more time working = increased productivity!
